Vision Statement

Homelessness is a major problem in America that we face. It’s not about black or white. Woman of Power is making a difference to bring change by transitioning, restoring, and rebuilding the lives of women and children who are homeless. Providing  families with transitioning housing for a better living environment and safety.

A crisis exists in America and it is called homelessness. In 2019, a report counted 1,632 people affected by homelessness in the Lowcountry and that’s about 30 percent. 483 individuals were women and 13 percent of the homeless were taking care of at least one child.

Woman of Power Ministries is here to make a difference in addressing this crisis by providing transition housing for women and their children. A place where they can call home. A place of safety and security while providing clothing, food, personal hygiene products and other resources to help women with children rebuild their lives.

WOPM mission is to empower hurting vulnerable women and children who are homeless and part of the at-risk population by providing shelter, security, and other needed resources and referrals through the following:
